Nothing you do is more important for the health of your church than to preach the Bible.
I’m Aaron.
I know the desire to preach with clarity, depth, and power week after week
I can’t promise you’ll find your voice. But I pray that when people hear you speak, they hear God’s voice through you.

My Process
Ancient Text
Uncovering the author’s BIG IDEA:
Every biblical passage was inspired by the Holy Spirit and delivered through a human author with a specific purpose, shaped by literary form. In this step, we dig deep into the text, its structure, context, and genre, to discover the author's BIG IDEA. When we deal with a narrative, we look at the story arc to grasp the tension and the lesson behind the story. As Dr. Kent Edwards teaches, “The meaning of the text is the message of the author.” This step anchors the sermon in Scripture’s authority by uncovering what the Spirit intended to say through the author to the original audience.
Contemporary Idea
Translating the truth to transform hearts
Once the biblical idea is clear, we bridge the truth into the lives of our listeners. Preaching isn’t just transferring information, it’s about transformation. This step answers: What does this truth look like in today’s world? Where do my people experience this in their daily lives?
Rooted in relevance, this process allows the Word to speak powerfully into the present moment of everyday life.
Holy Spirit Driven
Preparing the messenger, not just the message
Biblical preaching is more than exegesis and technical work: it’s a spiritual act. Here, through prayer and personal reflection, the preacher allows the Spirit to first apply the message to their own heart.
As Dr. Kent Edwards puts it, “God doesn’t just want to change your audience, He wants to change you.” This final step ensures the sermon is not only accurate and relevant but anointed and delivered with authenticity and power.
